How to Insert a Picture From the Clipart Gallery into A Word Document

Microsoft Office provides users with a large gallery of artwork available right from your computer. This gallery should be installed at the same time Office was installed. If not, then simply insert your Office CD-ROM and browse until you find the gallery and install it from there.

1. Open a new MS Word document.

2. If you want a picture inserted at the top of your letter or document, simply center your cursor by clicking the centering tool on the tool bar.

3. Click on INSERT located on the top row of the tool bar.

4. A menu will drop down and you need to click on PICTURE then CLIPART.

5. This will open a window that will show you what your choices are in the clip art gallery.

6. Click on the desired picture then click INSERT.

7. The picture should be right where you wanted it.

8. If you want to make it larger or smaller, simply click on the picture in your document the grab the sides or corners and push or pull to make it larger or smaller.

9. If you have a particular pictures besides the ones in the clip art gallery saved on your hard drive or on a floppy disk, after you go to INSERT, PICTURE, click on FROM FILE.

10. Then go to the file where you have the picture stored and insert it the same way as from the gallery.
