Configuration

 


1 Click your Start button, go to Programs and click on Internet Mail
2 If this is the first time you've run Internet Mail, you'll see the Internet Mail Configuration window.
Click Next.

Enter Full Name: Bubba Bubbaloo
Enter E-mail Address: bubba@radcafe.com
Click Next.

Internet Mail Server: POP3
Incoming Mail (POP3) mail.radcafe.com
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) mail.radcafe.com

Click Next.
5 For Email Account, type in your mailbox name.
Note: Do not type your email address. You should only enter the part to the left of your username.
For example: Suppose your email address is bubba@radcafe.com. Your mailbox name is just bubba.
6 For Password, type in your mailbox password. This is the same password as your account password.
7 Click Next.
8 Select I use a modem to access my email.
Click the down arrow to the right of the drop down box under Use the following Dial-Up Networking connection: and select your radcafe connection.
Click Next.
9 Click Finish.

Internet Mail is now configured for radcafe.

If you already had Internet Mail configured for another service, or if you want to change your settings, then follow the instructions below.

To change your Internet Mail configuration:

1 Start Internet Mail.
2 Select Options from the Mail menu.
3 Click on the Server tab.
4 Enter the following information:
Name: Enter your full name
Organization: Enter your company name (optional)
Email Address: Type your email address in the form username@radcafe.com .
Outgoing Mail (SMTP): radcafe.com
Incoming Mail (POP3): radcafe.com
POP3 Account: Type the first part of your email address, e.g., type username if username@radcafe.com is your email address.
Password: Type your mailbox password.
5 Click OK.

Internet Mail is now ready to send and retrieve your email using the radcafe mail servers.
